With more than 30 years’ experience in hospitality and event management at leading venues across Australia, New Zealand and the United States, Lynell is ICC Sydney’s Director of Culinary Services and leads a team of more than 100 dedicated culinary professionals.

Lynell has a passion for creating memorable culinary experiences, ensuring guests at ICC Sydney enjoy the best of New South Wales’ stand-out local produce, and its world class wines.

Panel: Should you be serving up a side of entertainment?

Whilst numerous factors are always significant to conference and event organisers, a constant focus for guests and delegates is the catering. More and more event guests have sophisticated tastes, they’ve become accustomed to a variety of cuisines and unique culinary creations. In addition there are allergens, religious or cultural beliefs and of course the more health and eco-conscious guests to take into account.

Add into the mix that the catering can also be the entertainment for your guests – think interactive catering stations, chef displays even walking tables! This session will explore this trend and discuss the important issues you should keep in mind when designing your meeting and event menus.
