Australian-based Anthony Bastic is an international creative director specialising in public event design.
A passionate storyteller, Anthony utilizes art and technology to design meaningful concepts that are often inspired by history and culture. He is responsible for introducing significant major public events and festivals including Vivid Sydney’s famed light walk; Parrtjima, an indigenous light festival in Alice Springs; and Lights of Christmas in Sydney, Boston and Brisbane. Other creative projects have included the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 Opening and Closing Ceremony, the Melbourne Commonwealth Games Royal Visit, Creative Directorship of the Rugby World Cup City Program, and the Sydney 2000 Olympic & Paralympic Games Live Sites.
Anthony founded AGB Events in 2007 and is most proud of its catalogue of original, inspiring experiences utilising iconic locations and legends. Including the iLight Marina Bay (Singapore), Opening Night of OzFest (New Delhi, India), HALO (Townsville), Beauty Rich and Rare, (Canberra & Washington) and the Coastal and Aquatic Campaign Launch (New York City, USA)
