After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to hold The Business of Events in 2020. Instead, we will return in 2021 with a new theme and program that will ensure a strong comeback. We are securing a date for The Business of Events 2021 and look forward to sharing this with you soon.
We were initially optimistic that we would be holding events later in the year. Like many of you have done for your events, we explored a range of options in our best effort to bring our community together. We are, however, at a point where we can no longer wait and see how the situation evolves.
While we are disappointed not to be coming together this year, we believe the decision to focus on the future is the best one.
While this situation has been challenging for so many, what has emerged is the need to collectively safeguard our industry. A re-imagined 2021 event will allow us the opportunity to explore the topics that are crucial to this effort and we will be adding new layers to the event to offer a deeper learning experience.
For our delegates, exhibitors and speakers, further information regarding the next course of action is being communicated via email.
We thank you for your patience while we have worked through this and for your continued support for The Business of Events no matter the date. Full statement available here.
